“Children’s Museum Oro Valley jumped at the chance to serve more visitors and families from throughout the region in partnership with this exceptional public garden,” said Hilary Van Alsburg, Executive Director of Children’s Museum Oro Valley.
 “Working together, both institutions will highlight all that is unique and magical for children growing up in the Sonoran Desert. Children’s Museum Oro Valley families will treasure familiar favorites from the original location, while delighting in discoveries for kids of all ages throughout the park, elevating the experience for the whole family.”

Indoor & Outdoor

Children’s Museum Oro Valley at Tohono Chul has indoor and outdoor exhibits. Daily activities and programming for kids and families will mesh with the natural focus of Tohono Chul, with a focus on the culture, animals and plants of our Sonoran Desert region.

Bring your stroller or wagon to use as you explore the gardens along the way to the [email protected] area. We are open from 9 am-1 pm Tuesday-Sunday, with open activity areas and scheduled programs every day.

Outdoor spaces are accessible during regular Tohono Chul hours, daily from 8 am-5 pm, though not all components are available when CMOV is closed.

Inside Tohono Chul

Visitors will experience Tohono Chul and CMOV exhibits and programs for one entry fee. All ages are welcome and kids 5-and-under will have free admission year-round!

Starting July 1, 2023, visitors to Tohono Chul will be able to purchase daily admission passes or take advantage of a Tohono Chul membership
to continue to experience the double benefit of Children’s Museum Oro Valley at Tohono Chul and the gardens!


As of July 1, Children’s Museum memberships will remain applicable through their expiration date at the downtown Children’s Museum Tucson location only.

FRIENDLY REMINDER

Starting July 1, 2023, visitors to Tohono Chul will be able to purchase daily admission passes or take advantage of a Tohono Chul membership to continue to experience the double benefit of Children’s Museum Oro Valley at Tohono Chul and the gardens!
