Cost: $640 Members | $800 Nonmembers
Party can be extended by 1 hour for an additional $250. Additional hour must be added AT LEAST three weeks before the event.

Daytime Party info
- Setup for parties may begin 30 minutes before scheduled party time.
- The birthday host will have two parking spaces at Children’s Museum Education Center, 130 S. Scott Ave., in the lot on the north side of the building. The host is welcome to stay parked there all day for their party and visit. Other guests can use metered parking or park in one of the nearby garages.
- Free-standing or table-top decorations are fine. Balloons must be weighted or tied down. No decorations can be hung from the ceiling or taped to the walls and please, no piñatas.
- If you are renting equipment or hiring entertainment, coordination with the Museum is required at the time you book your event.
- No open flames, other than cake candles, are permitted.
- You may bring in whatever food and non-alcoholic beverages you like. The Museum does not provide plates or cutlery.
- The Museum allows catering services, but we do not arrange catering.
- Handling and/or serving food is the responsibility of the party hosts. Museum staff cannot serve food or beverages.
- All food and drink must stay in the Education Center while your party enjoys the Museum. Gifts and leftover food can be stored at the Education Center (please see below).
- Party guests must consume food and drink before entering the Museum.
- No alcoholic beverages are permitted.
- You will have 1-1/2 hours (not including set up time) in your selected room at the Children’s Museum Education Center, 130 S. Scott Ave.
- Wristbands for guests allow admission into the Museum. Adults must accompany children to the Museum at all times during their visit.
- We will store your presents and remaining food in a secure room in the Education Center while you and your guests enjoy the Museum. Party hosts MUST RETURN to the Education Center to load up any stored birthday items NO LATER THAN 4:30 pm. The Education Center and parking lot close at 5 pm.
- Rental of the facility requires the renting party to clear trash and leave premises in a reasonably clean condition.
- Staff will inspect for and document any damage after each party and will notify the renting party of any damage.
- If any physical damage has occurred, the renting party will be charged the full cost of cleaning and/or repair.
Smoking or vaping is prohibited anywhere on the Museum campus, whether outside or inside.
Weapons are prohibited anywhere on the Museum campus, whether outside or inside.
Party guests and hosts are responsible for children and guests as they move from the CMT Education Center to the Museum.

FAQs
Days available for birthday parties are Saturday and Sunday.
Private VIB parties are held after hours and are available most Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
Times available depend on which package you choose.
Daytime Birthday parties are at 9:30, 10 am, 10:30 am, noon, 12:30 pm or 1 pm, with time depending on room selection
VIB parties are from 5:30 – 7:30

You can also call 520-792-9985 ext. 103, or come in anytime Monday- Friday 9am-5pm.
We highly recommend that you book your party 2-3 months from the day of the party.
Final guest count guest counts can be sent to [email protected] no later than 1 week before the event.
We will try to accommodate a different date for you; however, the payment is non-refundable.
The cost of the party is final. Members do get a 20% discount on the party itself, but all members, the birthday family and birthday child count toward the guest count.
According to our Fire Safety Code, a MAXIMUM of 50 people can fit in the Sunset, Mountain and Rainbow rooms.
If you are planning to have more than 50 guests, please book an after-hours VIB. Daytime parties may not exceed 50 guests due to capacity. If your guest count exceeds the room capacity some of your guests may not be able to enter. Please plan carefully.
Everyone over the age of 12 MONTHS old is counted.
You may arrive 30 minutes in advance to start setting up. You also have 30 min at the end of the party to break down.
VIB parties can be extended one hour (ending at 8:30pm) for an additional $250. For daytime parties we can try to accommodate on special circumstances.
Tablecloths are provided but you may bring your own if preferred. You may decorate the rooms but no decorations can be hung from the ceiling or taped to the walls and please, no piñatas.
Daytime birthday party hosts will have two parking spots in the parking lot at the Education Center at 130 S. Scott Ave. VIB hosts can park next to our emergency exit door on the southwest side of our building. Someone on staff will be there to open the door for you.
Guests must use metered parking or park in one of the nearby garages.
No alcohol, nothing that has to be hung from the ceiling or taped to the walls and no piñatas.
