How long does it take to visit the Museum?
On average, many of our visitors explore the Museum for about an hour and a half. However, many families like to take their time and spend a few hours enjoying the exhibits and activities.
What is the appropriate age range?
Children's Museum Tucson is geared to children 10 years and under. However, older siblings (and grown-ups) enjoy being the play guide to younger relatives.
When is the best time to visit? Are there busy seasons?
Groups usually schedule visits in the mornings between 10:00am and 12 noon. Springtime is very heavy with group tours. Feel free to call ahead to check on our tour schedule.
When is the Museum open?
The Museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm and Weekends 10:00am to 5:00pm. We are closed on Mondays during the school year. We are open daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day. (Summer)
Where can I park?
There is metered street parking all around and across from the Museum. One dollar in change gets you two hours of parking. Please note parking is free on weekends.
Can I leave and come back?
All visitors get a hand stamp and can use it to come back to the Museum on the same day.
Can we bring food?
Yes. There are full-size and child-size picnic tables available in our courtyard. Food and drinks are not permitted inside the Museum.
Can we bring a stroller? Stroller parking?
There is no "formal" stroller parking but can be left in the Museum lobby. Children's Museum Tucson is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Does the Museum offer discounts / coupons?
Yes. The Children's Museum Tucson is a proud member of the Southern Arizona Attractions Alliance and participates in the Tucson Attractions Passport. Are Museum memberships available?
Does the Museum offer free or reduced admission days?
